JMB to break world record with 604 pps on Dec 7....send AIME around the nation
Story
Well 3 years on after STS was born whilst sitting in the Sydney Uni basement with my good mate Adam Linforth, the Chief Smuggler of Budgy Smugglers and AIME's director of Finance and Partnering.... who would have thought we would have back to back for 3 years proven that an AIME kid finishes school at almost the same rate as every Australian child and that we are about to grow the program to WA, and SA.
In 2013 we will have close to 60 full time staff, and over 1300 Uni students involved in the program, with close to 3000 Indigenous high school kids. An amazing journey which we promise is just the begining... Your belief and encouragement is making us want to be better, and dream bigger every day...
We want to help build a world where whenever you take a step forward in life you turn around, throw back your hand and bring someone with you.
So on Friday 7 December 2012 I'll be helping lead Australia's largest charity strut - where we try and break a Guiness World Record for the World's Largest Swimwear Parade... All proceeds from Strut the Streets go towards the AIME Program, which supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids to finish school at the same rate as every Australian child.
So after an early fundraising kicker I've decided that if you help me raise $20,000 I will spend the whole week leading into STS in Budgy Smugglers, including a keynote speech in Melbourne and the return flight journey... all will be filmed and shared with my special donors - DONATE NOW.

AIME - Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience
AIME works around Australia providing mentoring and educational services.
AIME engages over 2,000 Indigenous high school students and 1,000 university students across Australia. Our workforce is over 1000 volunteer university students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Our goal is for all of our students to complete school and progress to university at the same rate as all Australians. For students not progressing to university we target 100% transition to further study or employment. In 2013 AIME engaged over 2,000 Indigenous high school students and 1,000 university students across Australia and our goal is to reach 10,000 by 2018.
AIME has proven to dramatically improve the chances of Indigenous kids finishing school. Our current group of year 11 students progressed from year 10 to year 11 at a higher rate than their non-Indigenous peers! Together with our Mentors and Mentees, AIME is building a generation of future leaders who strive to create a culture where for every step you take forward in life, you throw your hand back and bring someone with you.
Connect with AIME on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the AIME Website.
